Competitive compensation and benefits package. *Total Compensation: 200K *Healthcare Benefits *Bonus *Stock Options *ESOP Job Details We are seeking a Chief Estimator to lead a high?performing estimating team specializing in retaining wall solutions. This subcontracting division handles high bid volume across single?family, multi?family, commercial, and select municipal projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee all estimating activities for retaining wall projects, including concrete and MSE wall systems. Work directly with construction plans to design and estimate stone, block, and engineered retaining wall structures. Interpret Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP plans to produce accurate estimates. Train, mentor, and assign workload to Estimators while tracking progress and performance. Coordinate engineering requests and monitor progress through completion. Review and approve estimates for accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability. Collaborate with Sales to identify bid issues, clarify scope with General Contractors, and make corrections as needed. Partner with project managers and clients to resolve technical questions and support project planning. Implement best practices to streamline the bidding process and support ongoing division growth. Qualifications Experience estimating retaining walls, concrete structures, MSE systems, or similar scopes. Strong preconstruction or estimating leadership experience. Ability to read and interpret full plan sets (Arch/Struct/Civil/MEP). Excellent organizational, communication, and team?leadership skills. Ability to manage high?volume bids under tight deadlines.
