Job Description Job Description Job Details: Oslin Nation Co. has a great opportunity for someone to join the estimator team! This position is primarily responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive material quotations for products we represent. This role includes learning the technical aspects and uses for products, reviewing commercial building plans and specifications to determine HVAC and plumbing products, and performing a takeoff. This is an office position and does not involve field or site work. This position plays an integral role with the sales and engineering team and will need to communicate at a high level to ensure full understanding of expectations, job progress, etc. This position requires strong computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Suite, as well as the company ERP system (TRAX) to document project process and status. Requirements: Previous experience as an estimator or similar position preferred Highly organized and detail oriented Strong computer skills Self-motivated and confident in multitasking Comfortable working with multiple deadlines Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field helpful Mathematical aptitude – calculate final sale prices from material costs Punctual and reliable Strong analysis and critical thinking skills Thrive within a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills - articulate and professional Hours: Typically, 5-Day Work Week (M-F) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Benefits: Paid Time Off 401k with generous company match (up to 5%) 9 Paid Holidays Company-paid Life Insurance ($50,000 policy) Excellent insurance options including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Hospital, etc. Competitive Salary DOE In an effort to maintain a drug-free environment, offers will be contingent upon successfully passing a drug and/or background check.
