Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide
essential support for students in grades K-5 at two elementary
schools in the Dallas, TX area. This contract role covers a medical
leave from now through April 2024, serving a combined caseload of
approximately 48 students. The position requires onsite presence
with a commitment to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include
delivering speech and language therapy services tailored to the
needs of each student, collaborating with teachers and staff, and
maintaining detailed documentation of student progress. The role
involves working primarily at two campuses: one with 40 students
and another with 8 students, including two half days at the
secondary site. Qualifications and experience desired: Current and
active State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Preference
for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence
(SLP-CCC) Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered provided that
supervision arrangements are established prior to starting, as the
district does not provide supervision Experience working in school
settings with young children (K-5th grade) Ability to manage a
mixed caseload across multiple locations effectively Location:
Dallas, Texas area, onsite at two elementary school campuses.
