An Electrical Engineer is needed to support Supplier Management team (subsystems electronics) located at Lockheed Martin's Grand Prairie Texas facility.

The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field). The candidate will be responsible for working with other disciplines to resolve hardware failures, discrepancies and/or anomalies (involving root-cause analysis, failure review boards, adequate corrective action and subsequent Quality Note disposition) resulting in the return to service of suspect electronic assemblies. The candidate will be responsible for supporting drawing changes through the formal change process.

Candidate must possess good oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills. The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work under minimum direction. The candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
The candidate should understand the concept of hardware obsolescence.

Travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities will be required (as needed).

Candidate must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

- Supplier Management Team experience (such as RF antenna, proximity/fuze sensor)

- Experience managing program budget (CAM), schedules, and technical risks

- Ability to review/understand electrical , designs, ICDs, schematics, generate interconnect diagrams and troubleshoot hardware

- Experience supporting system and subsystem design updates/release (testing/evaluation)

- Ability to travel to production and customer sites (perform failure investigations and ensure technical performance)

- Ability to support onsite at least one day/week (as needed)

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Desired Skills:
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance (preferred)

- Experience performing MRBE tasks and support failure review board (FRB)

- Ability to conduct research, technical investigations, and problem resolution

- Experience with Visio, Zuken and Windchill (or similar tools)

- The following experience is desired: Integration, Interconnect Diagrams, Electrical Interfaces, Flight or Field Support

- Ability to work well in a team environment with Engineering & Technology (E&T) in addition to Global Supply Chain (GSC), Production Operations, and Quality

- Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management and evaluation of supplier proposals is a plus

- Experience with Failure Analysis and Corrections including disposition of non-conformance's.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
