  Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA, the--Emergency Services RN--will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department patients. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.

  Qualifications
  • 
    
  • 1 year hospital acute care experience in--ED, ICU, PCU or--HVU--required
    
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing with ADN
    
  • BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
    
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
    
  • AHA or ARC--BLS required
    
  • AHA or ARC--ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
    
  • TNCC required within 18 months
    
  • CEN and/or CPEN preferred
    
  • SAMA or CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Provider or Instructor) once obtained, must maintain.
