  • Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery.
  • Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered, and holistic.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement.
  • Maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population. Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.
    
    What qualifications you will need:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact license
    • Associate Degree required, BSN within 24 months of hire -
    • One year of Pediatric CVICU, CICU, or telemetry experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years -This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
