Location: Irving, Texas, is centrally situated between Dallas and Fort Worth, and it is home to more than a quarter-million residents. Facility: Walk-in clinic that offers occupational and urgent medical care, as well as physical therapy and wellness services. We treat everything from sprains and broken bones to coughs, colds, and flu. Our clinicians include board-certified doctors, licensed physical therapists, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, physician assistants, and other medical professionals. Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Monday-Friday; 8A-5P (no nights, calls or weekends) Performs medical assessment of Center patients Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for center patients Maintains clinical core competency Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies Meets with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conducts work place walk-through and other on-site assessments. Regularly calls client representatives upon seeing employee patients for initial injuries and change of duty status In the absence of the Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical staff (e.g. physician assistants, nurse practitioners and back/front office staff) to ensure the company mission is achieved.
