Job Description Special Procedures Tech – Interventional

Together WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln,
Dallas, TX 75231 WORK HOURS: Full time - 40 hrs per week. Hours of
operation are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; On-Call
requirements and must live within a 30 minute drive DEPARTMENT
HIGHLIGHTS: - Level 1 Trauma; Certified Stroke Center - 4 Procedure

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED: - Associate Degree, applied science
required or - Completion of accredited program or radiology
technology required or - High School Diploma plus 2 years work
experience in special procedures required. - 1 Year vascular or
cardiac angiography Preferred OR - 2 Years required with high
school diploma Required - ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic
Technologist upon hire required or - RCIS – Registered
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or - RCES –
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or - CMRT
– Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and -
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent
patient care and maintained quarterly required and WHAT YOU WILL
DO: - Imaging Quality and Processing: - Identifies, troubleshoots,
and initiates quality improvement. - Explains procedures to patient
or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam. - Performs
complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental
considerations. - Assists radiologist with complex and invasive
procedures using aseptic technique. - Correctly sends and transfers
images to PACS. - Performs assignments deemed necessary by
