Job Description Job Description Company Description Speech Therapist (SLP) – Home Health Lewisville, TX Employment Type: PRN / Per-Diem Schedule: Flexible Home Visits Pay: $46–$60/hour (up to $65/hour based on experience, caseload, and availability) Job Description Overview A home health program serving the Lewisville area is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide patient-centered speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy in the home setting. This PRN opportunity offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and consistent referrals throughout Lewisville and surrounding communities. Responsibilities Complete in-home speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with clinical standards and patient goals. Document progress, plan updates, and visit outcomes in accordance with home health and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers. Provide education on communication strategies, swallowing precautions, and home exercises. Maintain compliance with all professional and home health practice requirements. Qualifications Required Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Reliable transportation and ability to travel for home visits. Preferred Prior experience in home health or outpatient therapy settings. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. New graduates with strong competencies may be considered. Additional Information Compensation & Benefits PRN rate $46–$60/hour , with opportunities up to $65/hour based on experience and availability. Flexible scheduling and control over caseload size.
