Employment Type: Travel About the Job We are seeking a
compassionate and skilled Travel Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant (COTA) to join an Inpatient Rehabilitation team. In this
role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed
Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on therapy that helps
patients regain independence, improve functional performance, and
safely transition to their next level of care. Responsibilities -
Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
established by the supervising Occupational Therapist - Provide
hands-on therapy focused on activities of daily living (ADLs),
mobility, coordination, strength, and safety - Assist patients
recovering from neurological, orthopedic, or medical conditions in
regaining functional independence - Monitor patient response to
treatment and report progress or concerns to the Occupational
Therapist - Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic
exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety strategies - Maintain
accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility
policies and regulatory requirements - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary rehab team members including PT, SLP, nursing,
and physicians - Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment and
proper equipment use Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited
Occupational Therapy Assistant program - Current Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of
assignment - Prior inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab
experience preferred - Strong communication, teamwork, and
documentation skills - Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical
environments and patient populations - Commitment to delivering
