Details - Inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospital setting in Waco, TX - Day shift schedule, 5x8s (0800–1630) - 13-week contract Requirements - Active TX OT license required (if applicable) - BLS certification required (AHA only) - Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care (or a Master's degree with less than 1 year of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience) - Proficient computer skills and experience with standard rehabilitation equipment - 2 professional references required for consideration - DOB and SSN required for consideration - Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted Additional Information - Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients while modifying therapy programs and goals as needed - Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and accurate charge entry - Provide education to patients, families, and staff; communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team - Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers as part of clinical responsibilities - Black scrubs required - Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers accepted - Interview process consists of one round conducted virtually American Traveler Job ID P-676072.
