Job Description:

HCA Healthcare, a national leader in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, is seeking an experienced NICU Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position is vital in the management of infant respiratory care modalities as directed by physicians, with a focus on infants and children in the NICU. Our RRTs are crucial members of the healthcare team, directly involved in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory therapy in neonatal and pediatric care settings. Assess patient condition to administer appropriate respiratory care including mechanical ventilation and blood gas analysis. Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate individualized care plans for patients in the NICU. Educate patients and families on the treatment and care of neonates and children with respiratory conditions. Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Participate in continuous training programs to ensure the highest standards of care. Proficient in the use of neonatal and pediatric respiratory care equipment. Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatment modalities in neonates and children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cohesively within multi-disciplinary teams.
