Req ID: 322448NTT DATA Americas is seeking a Senior Director, Application Services Sales - Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, Travel, or Hospitality to expand our presence in the North American Market.The Senior Director, Application Services Sales will drive growth in our Custom Application offerings, providing industry expertise to clients. This role involves identifying potential clients, engaging prospects, showcasing our services, and closing sales. The Application Services Specialty Seller leverages deep industry knowledge to understand customer needs and employ consultative selling techniques to define solutions and proposals. Our collaborative approach requires orchestrating efforts across client and internal teams to build lasting relationships.Key responsibilities include:

• Providing digital sales technical expertise for developing and implementing complex digital products and solutions.
• Strategic sales, deal shaping, solution development, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Building relationships using industry knowledge to understand customer needs and tailor solutions that enhance revenue and success.
• Engaging with prospects and clients through consultative techniques to uncover needs and recommend optimal solutions.
• Collaborating with solution teams to develop tailored solutions addressing client challenges.
• Defining client value and relevance of solutions using industry KPIs.
• Staying informed on industry trends and providing strategic guidance.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and partners by understanding and anticipating their needs.
• Assessing application of digital products to meet client needs and preparing detailed specifications.
• Supporting sales efforts through consultative activities.Basic qualifications include:
  • 8+ years in consulting or IT services sales.
  • Experience negotiating and closing large deals in professional services.
  • 5+ years of focused sales in Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, Travel, or Hospitality industries.
  • At least 5 years selling Application Modernization, Custom Application Development, Cloud Migration, or Legacy Modernization services.Preferred skills include:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proven success in leading complex strategic sales.
    • Ability to engage with senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies.
    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
