We're currently seeking experienced Flatbed CDL-A Truck Drivers who are passionate about driving and delivering excellence. Our drivers are pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of diverse goods, directly influencing our success and the satisfaction of our customers across various sectors. Safely operate a flatbed truck and securely transport goods to various destinations as assigned. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with all applicable legal and safety requirements. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving, retaining fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Manage load integrity and safety, ensuring no damage to the freight. Report defects, accidents, or violations, and handle emergency situations that may arise during transport. Proven work experience as a Flatbed Truck Driver. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). No recent moving or driving violations.
