Job Description:
Job Description Stone Bridge Personnel – Fort Worth is a local
staffing agency assisting a valued client in the steel and metal
industry in their search for an experienced Inventory / Materials
Manager (CHINESE/ENGLISH). This role is ideal for a highly
organized and detail-oriented professional who has strong inventory
and materials management experience and is fluent in both Chinese
and English. If you thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment
and have the skills to manage inventory operations, coordinate
materials, and support production efficiency, we encourage you to
apply. We are seeking a professional to oversee the full lifecycle
of inventory at our Texas facility, including the strategic
management of Raw Materials, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished
Goods. As the facility currently operates without a formal ERP
system, the successful candidate must be an Excel expert capable of
maintaining manual ledgers with 100% accuracy, while optimizing
floor space and material flow across the warehouse and yard. The
ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in inventory
control, materials management, or warehouse operations within a
manufacturing environment, along with advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel. This role requires someone who is process-driven,
with the proven ability to create and maintain organizational
systems from scratch in a manual environment. Candidates should
also have the physical stamina to work in a Texas warehouse or
plant environment and remain active on the floor for extended
periods, along with strong problem-solving skills and a “can-do”
attitude to independently resolve space constraints and inventory
discrepancies. Pay: $22.00 hourly (paid weekly) Shift: Days MUST BE
ABLE TO SPEAK BOTH CHINESE / ENGLISH 1. Inventory Control & Ledger
Management Maintain and update manual Excel-based inventory ledgers
for all raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
Establish and enforce a standardized "Paper-to-Excel" documentation
process to ensure every movement is recorded. Perform regular Cycle
Counts and physical audits to ensure the Excel ledger matches
physical stock (Zero-discrepancy goal). 2. Space & Layout
Optimization Design and manage storage locations (bin locations) to
maximize space utilization in the warehouse and yard. Organize
material flow to reduce handling time and improve accessibility for
the production team. Implement visual management (labeling,
signage, and 5S) to ensure a clean and organized storage
environment. 3. Material Flow & Coordination Coordinate the
receiving of raw materials and the staging of finished goods for
shipment. Monitor WIP (Work-in-Process) levels on the floor to
prevent bottlenecks and overstocking. Collaborate with the
production team to ensure materials are available and correctly
staged for daily schedules. 4. Reporting & Analysis Provide weekly
inventory status reports, highlighting low-stock items or
aging/obsolete materials. Analyze consumption patterns to assist in
manual reorder point calculations. FW333
