Overview

LMI seeks an experienced Facilities Project Manager to provide support to a federal facilities and infrastructure portfolio management program. Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor all phases of capital improvement and construction projects from planning and initiation through completion and closeout
  • Develop, update, and track execution of project requirements documents (PRDs)
  • Develop and manage project scope (SOW), costs (IGCE), schedule, and risk
  • Prepare and monitor multi-year budget planning, purchase requests, and spend down rates
  • Coordinate contracts with the executing agency such as USACE, FAA, GSA, CBP, etc.
  • May perform technical review of design and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with the real estate, engineering and environmental teams to obtain required permits and to ensure areas have undergone the appropriate reviews, documentation, and approvals
  • Provide program and project level acquisition support to include compiling and documenting project requirements, monitoring and reporting procurement timelines and milestones, preparing and developing acquisition documentation
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders on day to day project progress
  • Perform on-site project reviews and inspections to verify work progress
  • Review and update project documentation into various project management tracking database systems and systems of record
  • Collaborate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for construction and alteration activities
  • Prepare and present materials for Program Management Reviews (PMRs) as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and five (5) or more years of experience is required.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, complex, and large scale projects
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders orally and in writing
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to collaborate well with others and build strong relationships
  • Professional certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desired
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation (CBP BI) preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
