Description: The Gund Company is looking for an experienced CNC Operator for our 1rst Shift that thrives in a fast-paced production environment!The CNC Operator II is responsible for the fabrication of parts according to work orders and customer requirements. Ensures machinery is set up and works properly. (will be using CNC milling, routers, shears, saws---)Work Location: Euless, TX Plant 3010 South Pipeline RoadStarting hourly wage: $21 Work Schedule (1rst Shift): 6:00am-2:30pm Mon - FridayOvertime: voluntary (Saturdays) 4-8 hours/shiftMarkets: Switchgear, Electronics, Aerospace Military Space (AMS)What are we looking for?CNC Operator Level II - with a minimum of 2 years of experienceDoes this sound like an opportunity for you to dive into deeper? (What will you be doing) - Ensures machinery is set up and conforms with company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards. - Set up and execute machine programming: Operate numerically controlled machine tools to perform a series of progressive machining operations. - Work from programming, operational and machine set up instructions: Using operational data, defining, and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings, - Production operations such as mill, drill, face, thread and profiling and contouring. - Operators may run more than one machine simultaneously. - Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment. - Interpret basic to intermediate blueprint (drawings) specifications. - Work mix includes low volume/high mix and high volume/low mix.Education and Experience - 2+ years of experience as a CNC mill operator, required. - A High School Diploma or GED, required. - Experience using basic measuring equipment, required (calipers, rule, micrometer) - Lathe set up experience, preferred.Why Join Us? - Career advancement - Clean and safe work environment - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Paid Holidays - Comprehensive benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability - 401(k) retirement savings program with a 50% employer match - ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) - Shares are awarded each year - no out-of-pocket investment.
