Job Description:SQUAD LEADER - Managed File TransferThe RoleAs
the Managed File Transfer Squad Leader, you blend an in-depth
technical knowledge of engineering data services using both
commercial and open source secure file services with a passion for
delivering results. As the product owner you are the end-to-end
gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution
associated with delivering on strategic priorities. In an agile
structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to
influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps, and resource
requirements, set, and refine the mission, and bring together a
team of chapter members to execute on specific product features.
-This product line should be well connected with needs of the
Fidelity developer community, serving to accelerate solutions
through innovative and emerging file transfer capabilities, driving
cloud enabled data services. - The squad will be highly focused
ensuring the man are scaled, operated, and monitored to ensure
service durability and continuity of service. You will ensure
alignment on the "what" and "when" work is to be performed through
ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. You will
enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing
and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating
success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and
knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
- Defining, refining, and communicating the squads' mission and
roadmap to motivate and build team and partner support and
alignment
- Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and
prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and
guide execution of the team
- Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against
acceptance criteria
- Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing
impediments
- Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI's
that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people
results
- Collaborating and coordinating with Chapter Leaders and Scrum
Masters to build squad capacity and capability and enabling squad
member growth, development, and learning
- Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance
between quality, cost, and timelines
- Coordinating operational and capability enhancement as a member
of a broader set of File Transfer platforms to drive a unified
business experience
- Participate in working groups to align architecture and
businesses to for the Managed File Transfer serviceThe Expertise
and Skills You Bring
- 5+ Years of File Transfer Application Architecture
Engineering
- Expertise in modern software development pipelines and API
based feature delivery
- Experience in building and deploying highly resilient database
solutions in AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of integrating applications effectively
with different source and target using secure protocols
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining dynamic
products and solutions
- Financial services experience, preferred
- Agile experience
- Jira and Jira Align experience preferred
- You take a data-focused approach to understanding customer
needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize
to improve value delivered
- You grasp sophisticated product features and break them into
clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and
acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these
- You have a strong focus on execution and identify, communicate,
and remove impediments to progress
- You are capable of leading, influencing, and motivating
colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of
building high-performing teams
- You continuously improve and encourage an agile way of
working
- You establish and maintain unquestioning relationships as you
